Here I go...

Hi everyone. Well, I've managed to get this far "with a little help from my friends". I'm afraid I'm not really into this stuff and have to admit I'm forcing myself to do it. I can however see that it would be really useful and quite beneficial to those who are interested in this sort of technology.
Now for the real CHOOK REPORT......
Our chooks have started laying eggs again after about a 2 month moulting period. We have 6 chooks and they are all looking very grand with their lovely new feathers. Even Noody (who we adopted when a work colleague left 5 of her feathered friends with us when she went walkabout to Tasmania) has now got a beautiful covering of soft creamy feathers on her previously bald back. Until 2 weeks ago we still didn't have any eggs and I had to have a good talk to "the girls". I told them now that they had put all their efforts into looking beautiful it was now time for them to start paying their way again. I was going to do a Kevin Heinz and lean the axe against the chook yard gate, but just in the nick of time "the girls" must have got the message and we are getting 3 to 4 eggs a day. Whoo hoo!! Sorry if I'm boaring you, but this is "The Chook Report" afterall. Oh, and one last thing- some of the eggs are huge and the record egg so far is 79g. That's my challenge. Can anyone out their in chook land beat that? (probably)Bye for now, The Egg Collector.
